The Truth about Palm-wax Candles:
Palm Wax is one, if not THE most dense wax for candle making. Due to this, there are a lot of things you will want to know about your Palm or Palm\Hemp blended candles:
- Palm wax has a very high melting temperature! (Just around 140F to start.)
- Palm wax, unlike other waxes, is very brittle and if dropped from a shelf – might shatter or crumble.
- Due to the high melting temperate, palm wax candles make great pillar candles and outdoor standers (Hint for a future here.)
- Palm wax being natural in the environment, is much more sustainable than other waxes – exerting less work, time, and energy to extract.
- Unlike other waxes, palm wax has a very beautiful naturally occurring crystallization when drying!
- Most jarred palm-wax candles were not wearing a seatbelt when driving.
- Jarred palm candles do NOT melt all of the wax in their jar and are designed that way.
Due to the eco-friendly nature of Palm-wax, the recrystallization of the wax when extinguished, and the ability to make candles into something more than just a pretty container, B’s WaxWorks decided to break the Mold.
